Scottish Government's spend with it's top 50 suppliers, calculated using spend by value, by financial year.
These are aggregated figures based on individual transactions from the Scottish Government finance system during the period 1 April until 31 March of following year.
The spend comprises goods, works and services. Electronic Purchase Card transactions are not included.
This dataset does not contain any sensitive or personal information.
Data is extracted from the Scottish Government Finance system and a table is produced annually ensuring consistency.
Data is taken from the Scottish Government Finance system and is based on payments to individual suppliers. Each payment has been aggregated into a total spend with each supplier within the financial year. This does not include payments on the electronic payment cards.
This is the first dataset published for this topic. As more datasets are published in the future, users will be able to compare data and identify trends over time.
The data is available to download in the form of an Excel or CSV spreadsheet.
The data is also available as an API which supports a more technical audiences, such as app developers.

Data is based on the financial years and will be made available approximately 3 months after the end of the of the year to which they relate.
